For those of you who want to discover for yourselves what you can do to create a life that better reflects your environmental concerns, your vision for a slower, richer pace of living, and your personal priorities, we highly recommend the Discovery Circle Programs offered by the Northwest Earth Institute of Portland, Oregon. These self-guided discussion groups give you the benefits of group synergy, mutual support, and thoughtful discussion through which you can discover and adopt ‘green’ choices that feel appropriate for your particular circumstances and your personal priorities. The genius of these groups is that while everyone reads the same material and experiences the same discussions, what each person takes away from the process is what resonates with them.
 We also offer a variety of programs, work shops, activities and events that inform, engage and awaken. Drawing on the skills, talents, and experiences of our community members, these events are varied, personal and rich in their content.
