Supporting EcoStewards Alliance

Located as it is in the Washington, DC, area, you might be inclined to ask why EcoStewards Alliance would want to offer programs that encourage persons to make choices that help create lifestyles that are more conscious, eco-centric, and slower paced. To which we would respond, ‘What better place to establish such programs?’ With Washington being the nominal center of this nation’s decision-making process and noted for its Go-Go-Go fast-paced lifestyle, its residents need to hear voices that say ‘Slow down – give yourself a chance to breathe – is this what you really want?’ and likewise need organizations such as our subsidiary, The Chesapeake Earth Institute, who can help persons make gradual but meaningful changes in how they live to create richer but simpler lives for themselves while also reducing their environmental impacts. If you would like to assist us in getting our message out and in expanding our local community of men, women and children seeking ‘greener,’ simpler lives, then please consider offering us the gifts of your time and financial assistance.

As a registered 501(c)3 not-for-profit organization, EcoStewards relies heavily on contributions from folks like you and from forward thinking organizations to keep our operations going and our community growing. Your contributions can take two forms: volunteering your time and expertise to help us in planning and conducting our various events such as nature outings, computer recycling events, or pot luck dinner gatherings and by donating whatever financial assistance that you feel moved to offer.
